CSC26 Portal Submission

Before submitting your abstract and completing the submission process, please read the following documents carefully

  • Authors will be notified on July 31, 2026 if their abstract(s) have been successfully accepted for presentation. All authors accepted for the CSC 2026 must register prior to August 22, 2026. Failure to register by this date may result in the corresponding abstract(s) being withdrawn.
  • Due to formatting and layout, we recommend using a desktop or laptop rather then a mobile device to upload your submissions.
  • You may be nominated for presentation of a Fast Take – this is a lunchtime presentation of three (3) minutes only in the main space of the Congress to highlight your scientific work to a broad audience.
  • The use of AI in abstract submissions: The use of large language models (LLMs) to generate a scientific abstract is prohibited. LLMs may be used to proofread work written by the authors. Any use of LLMs or other forms of Artificial Intelligence (AI) must be declared in an AI use statement. Abstracts found to be in breach will be automatically withdrawn from consideration.

The ASA and NZSA invites you to submit an Abstract or Poster of your research for presentation.

Prize monies available are over $20,000 AUD, as well as awarded registration costs for future ASA NSC and NZSA ASM attendances.

Submissions now open for posters/presentations in the following categories:

Questions and Answers

Can I edit or withdraw my abstract after it has been submitted?

Yes, you can log into the Abstract Submission Portal here before Monday 15 June, 2026 and make any necessary amendments or withdrawals.

Please note that after this date the abstract will be locked and distributed for assessment to the Scientific Program Committee.

Can I submit an abstract for an article that has already been published or presented?

No; your abstract needs to be of original research, not previously published in a journal, or presented in any format at a major Australian or international meeting. All authors must approve the submission.

Are references included in the Word Limit?

Yes, they are calculated in the 600 Word Limit. You can include a maximum of 3 references. References are noted inline with the text body using square brackets for example [1], [2-3]

When will I find out if my abstract has been accepted?

Notification of submission results will occur on or before Friday 31 July, 2026. Please note that categories may be shifted if the Scientific Program Committee finds an abstract better suited to a different Prize.

I am unsure which category my abstract falls into. Who can I ask?

Please read the details regarding each Prize under their relevant headings on this page. If it remains unclear, please email csc@arinexgroup.com with any questions.
