Getting to CSC 2026
How to get to CSC 2026
Newcastle Airport
Newcastle Airport (NTL) in Williamtown, NSW, is the gateway to the Hunter Region, offering direct domestic flights via Jetstar, QantasLink, Virgin Australia, and FlyPelican. It services major Australian hubs including Melbourne, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast, and connects seamlessly to global destinations with just one stop.
From Sydney to Newcastle
The Sydney–Newcastle train is a smooth, scenic 2.5–3 hour ride that follows the Hawkesbury and the coast before rolling into Newcastle Interchange.

From Sydney to the Hunter Valley
Driving from Sydney to the Hunter Valley is a simple, scenic run that takes about 2 to 2.5 hours. You head north on the M1, slip past the Central Coast, then turn onto the Hunter Expressway, which delivers you straight into vineyard country with almost no fuss. The roads are smooth, well‑signed, and mostly highway the whole way, making it an easy escape from the city and a relaxed lead‑in to a day of wine tasting.
To support attendee travel for CSC 2026, the Organising Committee is planning to offer dedicated shuttle bus transfers between Newcastle Airport, Newcastle Interchange (train station), and Rydges Hunter Valley.
To assist with planning and ensure sufficient transfer services are available, all registered attendees will receive a targeted communication in the coming weeks requesting details of their travel arrangements.
